Rehabilitation

Regional West Garden County Rehabilitation is comprised of a multidisciplinary team.  We offer Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech/Language Pathology.

Physical Therapist (PT) specializes in musculoskeletal impairments. Their focus is to improve quality of life when the liberty of movement is restricted due to an injury, surgery, disability or simply the effects of daily living.

Occupational Therapist (OT) gear treatment towards patient’s daily tasks and activities. OT’s are able to provide adaptive equipment, guidance and education, allowing the patient to safely complete daily responsibilities and recreational activities.

Speech/Language Pathologist (SLP) assess and treat patient’s ability to swallow, talk, comprehend information, and problem solve.

 

Licensed therapists coordinate a treatment plan to help restore patients to their maximum level of recovery. A variety of services are available for inpatients as well as outpatients including treatment for orthopedic problems, work injuries, sports injuries, arthritis, heart attacks, burns/wounds, pediatric developmental problems, amputations and cerebrovascular accidents (strokes).
